In the evening of 16th March ’23, we showed our children the 2023 Oscar-winning documentary in the Short Subject category – “The Elephant Whisperers”. Later, we asked them to write in their own words about what they had learned. This is what they wrote.

The story of The Elephant Whisperers revolves around a couple and two orphaned baby elephants in a village in Mudumalai Tiger Reserve, Tamilnadu. The beautiful relationship between the couple and the elephants has won millions of hearts worldwide so far, including our children’s. Not only does this documentary convey a beautiful story, but also an important message regarding elephant habitat conservation around the world.
